Luckily we had a friend come through for us and we didn't have to pay $150 for Nicholas' Elmo.. She was super cool in fact.

I saw him in action already. That's the point. Once you see him do his thing a few times... then what... I can't see any kid actually "playing" with this thing...:shrug:

I just checked eBay and the TMX Elmo's are averaging $50. Even the PS3's are capping at around $1K.

Year after year stuff like this goes on and people never feel taken afterwards that tney paid all that money when if they waited it would be cheaper and the same game system.

I remember in 1994 or 1995 when the first Tickle Me Elmo came out and it was going like hot bananas and still this thing's Christmas time legend lives on. Dude is cute but his creation really is outdated. Even Barbie had friends and family additions.
