I would like to know more about what you ask for and if you have a type of contract written up with information in it whenever you have used your male dog as a stud.

Any helpful information would be great!!

TIA

Don't know what breed you have, but ours has lots of disqualifying faults so my stud contract requires the female br free of these DQ's, and also be health certified. Here are a few sites to give you good info:

Some of these things don't apply if your dog has never sired a litter before either, such as the 3 pup gaurantee. Most folks with unproven studs ask less, and don't require payment UNTIL pups are on the ground. Then he's proven. It's also part YOUR responsibilty to see that the ##### owner has potential homes for the pups. Do you want to be responsible for your dog's pups being PTS or taken to the pound because no homes were available?

Always have a written agreement. Do you have a male or female? I thought you had a female. Anyway if you have a male I have a frieind that is looking for a stud pug.

Neo is a male and I feel he is ready. Would her name be Natalie? Just curious......

It's not about "feeling" when your dog is ready, have you read your AKC breed standard? http://www.akc.org it will tell you what age is recommended to breed it.

Appy...my pup that is going to CO's new owner does get this....artificial inseminations for pigs for a living!
