Are we really in that much of a hurry?

You don't necessarily have to be in a hurry, me personally, I just dislike 1-2 hour delays (each way) added onto my work day... :coffee:

I am now a traveler through there and have never experienced more than a 10 min. delay. I've come through all times of the afternoon.

Off topic a bit because I'm in Charles but I wait at the same light 15 minutes a night. It's pointless to go down backroads because I still have to go out of my way because Middleton is blocked off. It's ridiculous that everytime I drive by there, people are sitting down on the ground smoking and drinking. It's no wonder no progress has been made.

Most of the time when I drive by places that are doing road work. It looks like the only people working are the two directing traffic.

Wow... I don't know what part of PF you drive but I drive the Rt 4 every day and never have 1 - 2 delays. I hit the south bound right around 4:40 - 4:45. It creaps along a bit but the only time I have run into any delays come anywhere near that is when there is an accident. Admittedly the light at the hospital is a bit long but still not that long. In the morning (around 6 am) I zip right through the town.

I have been traveling through PF for over 16 years now to go to College Park and it has gotten worse each year. You have been lucky you haven't had to deal with too many accidents then. I have sat in traffic at Plum Point Rd because the traffice is backed up. I don't understand why we don't build up instead of around. Build the bypass on top of the curent Rt. 4. Start it at the top of the bowling alley hill and bring it back down just past Kenmar. Anyone who wants to stop in PF just stays on the bottom section. When I went to Seattle a few years ago that was how some of their roads are built and think its a great idea.

You wait till there's an accident in between Rt. 260 & Rt. 258. You thought the other day was a mess. At least if you know the back roads (other than Rt. 2 & Rt. 260) you can get around to get home but trying to get out of the County can be a b%#tch when there's an accident.
