"To Say You Love Jesus But do Not Love His Body..."

Pretty amazing, those that are superior to the rest of us that don’t have time for, or are above attending that are not only in sin of (pride and self-righteousness), they are delusional and probably not be saved. It also comes from not understanding what church is and is all about. Their only understanding is that it’s a religious check in the box, and in a world thats all about them.....

AW Pink decided by extra biblical revelation that God wanted him to be disobedient and to stay home and write rather than practice the one another’s and be further sanctified by attending church. Amazing the guy didn’t practice what he preached!
A. W. Pink: glorifying God by disobeying Him?

Quote:
He labored faithfully for his remaining twelve years of life, writing and producing the periodical while he lived in virtual isolation, not even attending a local church. He justified this behavior by explaining that the admonition not to neglect the assembling of ourselves together does not mean that the sheep of Christ should attend a place where the goats predominate or where their attendance would sanction that which is dishonoring to Christ.

Acts 11:25-26

25 Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, 26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.

Church is good, but there will always be some weeds among the wheat. A majority of times its selfishness that causes people to forsake meeting for corporate worship and fellowship. Sometimes they don't even realize they are the dandelion instead of the wheat!

Yup. Even in the mighty, righteous catholic church. This happened here this past week, and onel will probably say something like "Well, he was a Florida catholic, not a real catholic.":

The "Church's One Foundation" is a fantastic song, and points directly to the bedrock foundation of the Church that is Jesus - the rock of the body of Christ. We sing it often, directly to the Lord Himself.

Those that think alike need to be together or they will not be together long.

No one is immune from sin, and only one Person only can atone for our sins, and via Him only.
