When I was a kid, if any of us kids misbehaved the meal was OVER right then and there. EVERYBODY got punished so there was further consequences when you got home from your siblings. AND it would be awhile before you were even allowed to go out to eat again. You bet your sweet bippie we didn't misbehave.

I am so very blessed
I get embarassed when my little one fusses a bit when we're out in town, whether it be grocery shopping, out to dinner, or a side trip to Lowe's. I try to sooth him, make him laugh, and keep him entertained so that he doesn't stay fussy for too long. If he ever behaved as this child seems to have acted last night, I'd have more respect for the people around me than for my son's poor behavior and take him home. Naturally, I hope to instill in him better guidelines to know that crawling around on the floor, using outdoor voices inside, and acting like a brat is unacceptable. I want to raise a well-behaved, kind, and considerate child, not someone who feels that they are entitled to make every one else miserable. But that's just me.

I think it's a good idea to get your kids out in different situations. Maybe they won't always be good, but shiat happens!!

I can take my kids anywhere. They don't embarrass me until I let them meet the guy I've been dating:twitch:

The ones who refuse to take kids out are the ones who have kids who don't know how to behave.
