Murphy..... I went to the Calvert Humane Society on Saturday to look at the Mily twin and it was far from a match. Mily was too high enenrgy and excited to be there and the other dog got snarly. We looked around and there wasn't too much else I was interested in so it was off to tri-county. In the very last pin sat Murphy (well #6068 by their terms) a one year old beagle found in PG County and brought to the Charles County Humane Society who in turn had to take him to tri-county because they didn't have room for him. He was just sitting there as well behaved as could be. We asked to see him and we went into a room. He was just the sweetest thing. Not quite as scared while in the room with us. Tail wagging and licking Noah in the face. We decided he was the one. I'll pick him up from the vet today after work!

They were full! I also liked a 3 year old Jack Russell they had but he lifted his leg right in his cage. Not a good first impression. I wish I could have taken them all....

I am thinking about getting another companion for my pug but not sure yet.....don't really want to do the house breaking once again I think I will make a trip up there and see what they have this weekend.

Awesome Pix! I know you'll love him to pieces. That 3 year old didn't happen to be named Mickey did he? He's the one we almost selected before we chose Mattie.

That's awesome, Pix. So, you are able to take your current dog to the shelter to meet potential new ones? I wasn't aware of that, and it's something to remember when we're ready to add another furry friend to our household.
