Used to be a law in NYC about kids and having gates in the windows but I can't remember what the age limit. No telling WTF the sitter was doing that she didn't see him get as far as he did. Glad they caught him.

It only takes a split second for a toddler (or any kid for that matter) to get out of your sight. Kudos to those that helped out and kept a tragedy from happening.

Wonder if the mom will sue the rescuers. After all, the kid ended up with a cut on his forehead and needed to go to the emergency room. Sounds like a good $5 Million settlement case to me.
