Toddler Haircut

Hi,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a great place to get my 2yr old son's haircut at?

The last 2 trips to the salon have been horrendous and I'm sure the women there didn't appreciate their relaxing experience being shattered by my screaming son.

I'm willing to go anywhere in the so md area for a pleasant experience for both of us!!!

Thanks :howdy:

I am so very blessed
I've used dog clippers on my boy, as well as Daddy's mustache trimmer when I just wanted to tidy-up around the ears.

As for a true haircut: we've gone to the barber at Pax, as well as the haircutter place in Wal-Mart, and have had great results at both places.

When my guys were little I took them to Gattons on Hollywood/Leonardtown Rd. Try a barber shop instead of a beauty salon.

DO NOT use "Fanstastic Sams"... horrible service 2 years ago when took my daughter for her 1st "salon" cut. my 5 year old has been calling it HORRIBLE SAMS ever since whenever we pass there....

wow how awful! the last time I got my own hair cut in the hair cuttery, the stylist actually told me how they all hate doing kids haircuts and they call in favors with each other to avoid it!!!!!

We've taken our boys to Morgan's Barber shop on Shangri-La in Lexington Park. They are fantastic with little kids and they give them candy once they are done or during (if they need a distraction for a squirmy kid). They have toys too to distract the kids if needed. My two boys and my husband all get their hair-cuts there. Hair-cuts are $12, I believe.

IMHO, the two women there are better at doing real little kid's hair. The two men are great once the kids are alittle older.

I have been taking my kids to MJ's for a long time. They have a kids room where the kids can sit in a car and watch a movie. Mandy always does the kids and she is good:)

Put a bowl on his head, tilt it back a bit and snip away. The resulting cut will look like the popular new cuts. He can be cool way before he even knows what cool is.

If you choose to forgo this, then I suggest the barber shop mentioned by RareBreed.

while we are on the subject of haircuts, anyone have a recommendation for little girls? They are bi-racial but have "white" hair. It is very soft and fine, but very curly. One has blonde hair, the other is a light brown. Would a salon that has more black or bi-racial hair stylists be better, or just any ole salon?

The kids are 1 1/2 and almost 4. TIA (sorry for hijacking, but I didn't want to start another new thread)
