Where is a good place to buy them? I usually buy all my sons clothes at Old Navy and they haven't got anything right now? TIA:buddies:

Might see if Dick's has anything left in stock. They have some stuff on their website, but the prices ... :cds:

Might also try Craig's List or calling around to some of the consignment shops, see if they have anything left.

Yeah, I'm thinking Dick's maybe the only place with stuff left? If we don't get the snow, we'll just sell the stuff on Ebay

What sort of stuff do you need and in what size? I don't have any snow pants or boots, but I do have an extra coat (3T, I think) I'd be happy to loan ya.

Thank you, a coat is the only real waterproof winter thing we DO have. My husband is all excitied at the thought of the snow, he wants to make sure my son is prepared to help him outside (yeah, I know, he's 21 months)

We had a considerable smow storm when our son was about the same age as your son... while we were out clearing the smow, we assigned him the duty of clearing a portion of the deck with his heavy equipment toys and man did he have a ball scooping and dumping smow! Now he is 20 and he makes good money scooping and dumping smow with real big toys...

Bikinis are on the racks now and the winter closed are scare on the clearance racks. Good luck. If it really does snow, mine will be going outside in layers. I've refused to ever buy snowsuits again.

This is pretty much what I'm doing. Layers, plastic baggies around his feet inside his shoes. For as little snow as we get around here it's just not worth it to keep buying snow suits that'll never get used.

I bought my daughter some ski pants, gloves etc. at Khols a few weeks ago when we thought we'd be getting some significant snow. They are still hanging there with the tags (and the receipt ) :tantrum:

I've had to do the plastic bags over the feet. I've had a few pairs of boots given to my kids but this year we're down to 2 pairs of snow boots and one pair of rain boots. Thing 2 wore the rain boots with Mommy's thermal socks and plastic bags over her feet. They worked just fine. :yay:

Tags are still on them. I'll give it another week, then they are going back for a full refund. Not willing to take a loss when she hasn't even put them on much less worn them. If she at least worn them once, I'd ebay them. They are still new never worn, going back.

Oh, I thought they'd only give you the amount back that they are selling for now, not the receipt amount. :buddies: In that case I'd return them too !!

I swear by Amazon. I've bought all of the kids' sports gear off of Amazon and have saved a ton of money. I've upgraded to Prime to save on shipping. I do more Amazon shopping than store shopping during the holidays.

Nope. If you have the receipt and you return it within their policy dates (usually 30 days), you get a full refund.

If you have the receipt you get that amount. If no receipt (and not purchased on their card so they can look it up) then you get whatever it's currently selling for.

Is Amazon like Ebay with the new w/ tags items and type of stuff? Do they have auctions? I thought it was just new, retail price things?

Amazon has new and used things. They do not do auctions, thank God. I hate that process. And as far as the prices, some are retail but most are well under retail. I've found GREAT deals on there. I've been using Amazon since I was preggers with #1, 8 years ago.
