I couldn't believe this when I read it today. It sounds like the people in the town did not support his decision. He acted like he was left out of the decision making, which I don't believe at all. I hope he feels like an idiot!

As far as Berkeley-- I'm pretty liberal--but I don't agree with what they are trying to do at all. I hope they do end up withholding funds from them. Let's just see how far they are willing to go to make a point.

He doesn't sound like he feels like an idiot. He sounds like he is having a :tantrum because he wanted everybody to realize only his opinion matters and apparantly not everyone agrees with him!
He made a very wrong decision, his peers don't like it and neither do the townspeople. He might have a lot of apologizing to do!
