Ugh, two major holidays goofing up the week have made me somewhat disoriented. It's felt like Sunday for 10 days now. Must shake it off because I have a work list a mile long.

We worked a 10 hr second shift yesterday getting off at 1 am this morning. It was that or I told them we were working this coming sunday.....

Fortunately for me, today is a scheduled day off - a benefit from somehow scoring a holiday on my NORMAL day off (Wednesday).
On the other hand, I still have to pop in briefly for minimal paperwork. Just the way things work.

We had both Christmas and yesterday off, but they were scheduled as one of our "normal" days off for the week. I've been there long enough that I'm paid for both days, so it's like a bonus 8 hours per week added to a normal check. I'm not getting rich, but I have all the toys I need to amuse me. It's just a little more to squirrel away into savings. Since TLOML passed and the kids are grown, the Holidays aren't as special as they used to be anyway. So, bring on the Benjamins...
