We're in St. Inigoes. They told US to take cover. We have no basement or anything and are now sitting in the master bathroom (the only room with no windows) with the laptop. Probably for nothing...but better safe than sorry.

The warning isn't just in St Mary's County, according to the weather radar on channel 4, it's OUR HOUSE!!!!

:lmao: OK we're outta the bathroom.

Me and The youngest heathen and the dog were standing on the front porch..a County Sherrif drives by slows down and yells at us to get inside and take cover. So we did. Me, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats, turtles, sugar gliders etc. etc. And nothing. I bet he's laughing at us now. :lmao:

The weather channel has reported that the storm weakened considerably and there is no longer a threat of tornadoes. Strong storms still possible though.

It was fun to watch.. I was outside on tornado duty, watching and figuring out how far away the lightening was. Heard the rain comong through the trees, watched it cross the road out front, and watched it come down the driveway.. before I ducked inside at the last minute.

The lightening was SPECTACULAR and was between 1/2 and 1 mile North of us... VERY bright and very defined against the dark sky.

Now I'm sorry I hid in the bathroom. :bawl:

Don't be sorry... About the same time you were hunkered down in the bathroom, the man and I stood in the kitchen watching what looked like the start of a funnel cloud, about a mile North of Trapp Road heading East. Then the rain came down and luckily it became nothing.
