That was a big fat nothingburger.

However, it is always, smart to remain vigilante. I have told my children all their lives, that if they want a job that pays the big bucks (even when you are wrong), study meterology, and become a weather forecaster. Mother Nature rules. Stay safe, y’all.

Just started pouring very heavy rain here in Piney Point. That's gonna knock a lot of the pollen out of the trees.

Heavy winds too, but so far the only damage is a tree limb or two down and some kinda trailer tongue piece got blown in to the river...

I actually lost a couple of mature trees in the woods during that Apri 14th storm. One was weakened by some rot, the others were fine. One elm, two oaks. Oh well, lots of firewood to be made.
