Torpedoes in Drayden

Has anyone been to the "New" Dennis Point Marina bar and grill? It's now St. Mary's yachting club and the bar/restaurant is called Torpedoes.

Hubby and I went there the other night. Laid back atmosphere, good food and a really friendly and attentive staff. The prices were very good. Hubby is now hooked on their fish tacos!

Just wondering if anyone else had been there since they re-opened under new management, and if so, what did you think of it?

They have dumped a lot of money into that place and it shows!

Larry and I went there last summer and whiled away an afternoon drinking and snacking. The food was good and the gal that took care of us was excellent (can't remember her name). This is on my to-do list for this summer - go hang out at Torpedos.

I could walk there from our place. Haven't tried it since Ray left. Menu does look good though.

Been there a few times since it was Torpedos, but thought they had changed hands again recently, like the end of last summer of something? Haven't been back since then, not for any particular reason other than I forget they are there.

The outside deck is nice, 'cept on the evenings they have country Karaoke.... Kinda ruins the river atmosphere for me.
