What operating system are you using?
Have you opened the windows properties window to reset the touchpad?
Have you avoided greasing fingers when using the touchpad?
Have you wispered softly into the CD drawer saying what soft, wonderful things you'll do to the 'puter if it behaves?

OK, I poked around in properties and I'm still lost. Why does all the bad stuff always happen to KJo? :bawl:

It's 'cause you have so many other things on your side. It's nature's way of saying "Not so fast, sister. I'm really in control here."

If you're using WinXP open the Control Panel. There's an icon for your touchpad in there (I am making one he!! of an assumption you're using a laptop)

 Yes, it's a laptop. And I'm running XP and I've been in the control panel several times and it's just not there. I need to just stop now because I'm clenching my teeth dangerously hard. TYVM. :baby:

Thanks, Kizzy. I did reboot. C mentioned getting a new mouse (he likes to use a little tiny mouse with the laptop, but I'm all about the touchpad!) so maybe he effed around with the settings or something. I'll just scroll the old fashioned way for now.
