Looking into a new laptop. Is it worth it to get a touchscreen? I already have a tablet but want a laptop for photo editing and digital scrapbooking. Any recommendations of brands to look for or stay away from?

Cant go wrong with Asus, love ours! Its a flip screen as well so you can use it as a tablet, touch screen is very responsive

I have a touchscreen and I almost never use it. I'm old school with the mouse. I only use my touchpad when my mouse batteries die and I don't have extras.

Home base is a PC, but portables are useful. I prefer a mouse, but my Dell touchscreen laptop works just fine, and I am getting used to it.

I'm leaning towards mouse. Also leaning towards hp. Had 2 dell's that didn't last long at all but my hp lasted several years.

A woman after my own heart! People who touch a screen should have their fingers removed, violently, and trackpads are an abomination sent from hell! :strangle:

Plus, you'll find it a lot faster using just your keyboard and a mouse.

God I hate when people touch my computer screen to point at something, I have threatened to cut fingers off before.
