Obviously, it was the NFC east the first 6-8 games. Now, how about the NFC South or the AFC East or North?

Both West's are bad this year and the NFC North is falling off with the collapse of the Packers thought the Bears and Vikes are decent but, well, they do have the Lions.

The AFC South has lost lustre with the decline of the Jags BUT the Texans, the TEXANS are becoming respectable and the Titans might be going to the Superbowl. Imagine if the Jags hadn't had all those O line injuries!

As good as the Steelers and Ravens are, the Bengs and Browns drag them down.

They're out to get us
ESPN was asking this the last two weeks. Before Sunday, it listed the NFC East and South. After Sunday, they included the AFC East. I believe the poll was 50% NFC East, 33% NFC South, 17% AFC East (with only New England states having it as a plurality).

It's the NFC East. Dallas, NYG, Philly, and Washington are all teams that could beat anyone in the NFL on any given sunday (sorry for the cliche).

The NFC South is solid, but not as impressive as the East. Carolina and Tampa could hold their own, but they aren't as flashy. Nobody is truly sold on the Falcons with a rookie QB, but the Saints are better than their record indicates.

The AFC East is filled with decent teams, but none that great. The Dolphins have been competitive and while they're solid, not great. The Jets have no defense so if Brett Favre has "one of those games", they're doomed. The Patriots have had injuries so they aren't so good this year. The Bills are just dreadful now.

AFC South is interesting. Colts have had a solid but quiet season. The Titans are barely getting by...I think their record is overinflated compared to the team they actually have. The Jags are a shocking disappointment and the Texans are right about where they're expected to be. Really though, it's only a 2 team division.

The rest...not good enough.

The Skins are the weak link here

The other three are better than us.

They aren't playing Fragile Fred enough

Freddy's one of the first players who needs to go right behind Porter and Crack-head Matt.

Maurice Jones-Drew is a beast.

Garrard's been a huge disappointment this year. :boo:

Garrard was overrated. Crack-head Matt needs to go. Peterson needs to be fulltime starter again if he's not.

Porter...porter...who is porter?

Peterson? No.

I'd like to see them take Northcutt off special teams and put him in as WR.

Porter...porter...who is porter?

Jerry Porter. The dude who can't catch a football right in front of him when nobody else is around. :bigwhoop:

there are 2 Jerry Porters ones in Miami and the others in Jacksonville.

Northcutt is a wide reciever but he usually just returns punts.

Didn't even have to poll this one. NFC East hands down.

All the NFC East teams beat the NFC South teams, so far.

Washington beat New Orleans, Dallas beat Tampa Bay and Philly beat Atlanta.

If any East team was in another division they'd probably win it.
