Vehicle is now bought.

What do you believe as a reasonable price, for said vehicle?
Out the door price (Tax, tags and freight included)?

Power with Control
Depends heavily on what options you got. I have to laugh at the so-called "sport package" that has floor mats, power windows, and Nav. For a car in that range, new, I would shoot for maybe $200-$300 over invoice, tops, then add tax, tag, and title. No undercoating, no window etching, no wheel warranty, no scotchguard.

Edmunds shows an invoice, after the current $750 rebate, no options at all, of 16,459. If you got a similarly equipped model for anything under $17K before TT&L, I'd say you did all right.

We bought two

We bought two Corolla sports in the spring. They are 2009's though. I was hoping to get a buy one get one half price, but they wouldn't go for it. Lexington Park Toyota wouldn't budge on anything. We ended up paying $20,000 for each of them. I couldn't even get them to give me a free DVD player installed. Should have gone to Waldorf... We are happy with the cars though.

I'd say out the door price taxes, tags and title, a great price would be around $17,500. Ive got a 2009 Corolla LE and I got it at Toyota of Southern Maryland 18 months ago, and today it just went past 30,000 miles and I have absolutely no complaints with it. My Corolla if I remeber correctly was about $17,400 out the door and its not a 'S'. I just looked at Carmax, (Laurel Toyota) and the 2010's seem to be just a bit less expensive then what the 09's were 18 months ago, the Corolla 'S' were about $17,900 or so last year at Carmax, this year $16,858 I dont know if that includes any rebates currently.
The Corolla is great car, in fact any Toyota is a great vehicle, Ive got 3 in my driveway.

In My Opinion
I tried to teach her when she first got behind the wheel.

I got her the automatic.
never teach your own kid to drive stick
get someone that does not care if she/he screws up the car.

brother in law could not teach my niece to save his soul, after a few weeks of it not working, I took her out to a parking lot and turned her loose, when she realized I would laugh when she stalled or ground gears, she relaxed and just started driving the car.

NEVER TEACH YOUR OWN KID IN YOUR OWN CAR

I don't think 20K is a bad price for the S. My friend has a Corolla S. It's a nice little 4 door vehicle in it's class. I have thought about picking one of these up.

We got it at Southern Md Toyota, out the door $17,500.
We could of got it $300 cheaper by going to FritzMall (Gaithersburg), but decided to stay local.

Hubby and I bought a 2009 corolla XRS(fully loaded and stick shift) with 9500 miles from a dealer in Minnesota for 15 and some change and that included taxes, tags and title. The best thing was they came and delivered it at home. The dealer does alot of business with wall street folks in New York. We also got a super low interest because they work with 20-27 different banks.

I hit the out the door price right on head in my earlier post. I get the prize.:yahoo: I got my Corolla at SoMd Toyota also and then, 30 months ago you couldn't touch a 2009 one for $18,500, I wanted the 'S' one just abit sportier and honestly looks alot nicer then plain LE, I did add a pinstrip and side molding to make it a bit nicer looking. My main thing was gas mileage back then thats when the price was over $4 a gallon and the little cars were moving quickly off the lot, they only had 1 "S" Corolla even on the lot to choose from.
