I think they were competing with Virginia’s mixing bowl in Leonardtown. Who could take the longest.

I was driving to Virginia daily while the Route 5 Leonardtown "project" was being worked. I actually was in a betting pool for which would be finished first - Nice/Middleton/Potomac River Bridge or Leonardtown debacle. I won!
