Traditional southern maryland recipes

Hi all, I am a life long resident here in St. Mary's. I am always looking for new traditional somd recipes to try. Does anybody have any good ones?

I like to hear the stories that go with them too. Half of the enjoyment is knowing where the recipes came from.

Do you have to be a paid subscriber to get on that portion of the forum? I can't seem to access it.

No, you don't have to be a paid subscriber. Click on UserCP on the menu bar above. Then click on Group Memberships on the bottom left of the page. Scroll down until you see "In the Kitchen" and click on "Join Group". The forum owner will have to approve your request, which in my case only took a day or two.
