This morning I watched a spokesperson for the NYPD and she said that the illegal set the woman's clothing on fire.
I don't see how that clothing could have burned like that without the illegal adding an accelerant of some sort.

She was saying the police got an extinguisher and put out the fire, but I still see the cop walking past and doing nothing.

Yep, and I have no duty to stop by every bike (and cars that appear safe) I see on the side of the road, but I do it because I'm a human.

So we here in the West are used to our fabrics passing CPSC tests for flame retardancy. However, folks buying their ethnic clothing from bazaars and flea markets might not be getting the same level of protection.
