The IMD World Competitiveness Rankings?? Who are they and what is that?
They rank us as #1 in strength of economic growth? That must be based purely on dollars...(which we should never be anything but #1 since we are the world's largest economy by far)....if it was based on percentage increase we aren't anywhere near number 1. (Naturally a grad level stats person like yourself would have considered these points before posting...right?)
They have us ranked #1 in infrastructure? That doesn't make sense on any level. Our road, bridges, mass transit systems and electric grid are poorly maintained and largely out of date. (Naturally a grad level stats person like yourself would have considered these points before posting...right?)
You are really digging deep in a vain attempt to make your views/opinion seem relevant or backed up by data...any data...from anywhere...produced by anyone...in any fashion.
If you had actually paid attention in any of the classes you claim to have attended, you might not need to be so desperate (because you would understand that temporary stimulus to an economy that is already performing near/at capacity is not a long term solution). But you obviously didn't...so you have to reach for articles like the one you posted.
