Translation: "Trump doesn't love war and poverty as much as we do"

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday that former President Donald Trump's presidency would be a "horror show" if he were re-elected because his former boss lacks the "discipline" as well as the "ability for strategic thinking" needed to get things done.

Right, because it was so terrible under Trump with all that prosperity, global respect, and peace. Not like the utopia it is now....

****ing Bill Barr. Running around busting on Trump but hasn't a word to say about the shitshow that is Joe Biden. That was Trump's biggest mistake as President - thinking these people were anything but lowdown treasonous grifter snakes and bringing them into his administration.

LOL, rats fleeing the sinking ship.

The smart ones will eventually figure out it was dumb to hitch their wagons to such a fat loser.

My first thoughts exactly. If a re-election would be chaos and a horror show, explain why it didn't happen when he WAS President.
If he so lacks the discipline and the ability for critical thinking, how come of all the billionaires we've known since we were kids, how come he's still around - when so many others have disappeared (and not DIED).

Conversely, why do these guys award accolades to Dems who PROMISE big things, but don't deliver? Why does Trump lack discipline but Biden manages to get up at the crack of nine and call a lid by just past lunch?

Not going to debate the prosperity and peace part, things were generally going pretty well under Trump, but "global respect" is about as wrong as you can be.

We went from countries throwing peace prizes at our leaders for no reason to basically every western country in the world laughing or making fun of everything our president does. Sure, NK and Russia may have liked us a bit more. Most places did give us more respect.

What a got damned weasel this guy is.. He and others like him who were in the Trump Administration and working against the man he was supposed to be working for. Truman was a wise man . He stated if you want a friend in Washington you better get a dog.. Republicans who were in office while trump was President are proof of that. I hope if he is elected again he makes better picks,

You're confusing respect with popularity.

Notice world leaders didn't **** with Trump? Like, at all? That's respect. It came from fear and that's okay - no sane person wants a hostile foreign nation to love their President because that means the President in in bed with that hostile foreign leader. NK and Russia didn't *like* Trump so much as they feared him. They don't fear Joe Biden because he doesn't command respect, and they didn't fear Obama either because he was a grifter pussy.

We indeed had significantly more global respect under Trump than we did pretty much any other US President, at least in my lifetime.

If he is re-elected I hope he beheads them all for treason.

I had an unbelievable moment while working at the hardware store today. A regular customer walked in and saw the MAGA flag hanging up. He turned to me and said - you know I didn’t agree with your political views 3 years ago but I’m voting for Trump this next election! I was speechless to actually hear someone admit this in public. Especially coming from this person.

That we did was stunningly obvious to most.
I think that he was able to form agreements with several Arab nations regarding Israel was astonishing.
In contrast, we not only have wars and build up to wars around the world - not to mention a fully armed Taliban, now arguably one of the major military powers due to idiocy - we have nations like Saudi cozying up to the most hated adversary in the region - Iran - with the help of CHINA.

Maybe he's gauging it by the Commie Twitter tards whining and moaning? So he's right that Canadian and European Marxist randos hated Trump, and terrorist groups hated him, but the leaders of their countries had a healthy respect and didn't **** with him.
Personally, I think it’s jealousy.

One of trumps biggest and most unpopular moves he has to make if he returns is to do away with our "woke" military.
We cannot earn the respect of other nations with a military filled with drag queens, trans-sexuals and homo's.
Certainly homosexuals have always been in the miliary and they served well, but they kept their sexual proclivities to themselves.

No one needs to know what anyone else does to get their rocks off.

It's been my observation that during my lifetime - when our national leaders are liked by our allies (note: allies are NOT friends) and liked or admired by our adversaries - it's because they know they can take advantage of them.

I've also seen that people can "admire" a leader when their leadership in NO WAY affects the outcome of their life - hence we have admiration for the likes of DeSantis or Newsom, governors whose decisions don't affect most of us, here.

That's the way it plays out on the world stage - a good strong leader from a strong nation IS going to disturb YOUR life, a little, because his interests lie with the strength and prosperity of HIS people, and it may come at a cost to YOURS.

Americans LIKED Gorbachev - Russians STILL hate him.

It works in reverse, too.

Traveling the world for a living, as I have for 35 or so years, you get a sense of what the average "Joe" or "Cho" thinks about the US in general and our President in particular. I've noted that most folks in Scandinavia and throughout Europe in general view more favorably a weak simp of a president far more than a strong forceful one. Sissy boy Obama was adored...Biden is "liked" because they see how useless and ineffective he is and regard that as a positive thing for some reason.

It's harder to gauge the middle eastern and far eastern folks...they generally favor strong leaders but its a mixed bag of things they consider to be strong-leader attributes.
