Yes, I remember very well. But he probably didn't know that anyone was coming to visit him. I have no idea of his mindset, but after two days trapped without food or water, he might have reached his limit.

two days???? the visitor came later that same day, probably to check on the guy after the storm, it hadn't even been 24 hours...
