Travel To Flagstaff, AZ

I'm heading out to AZ in a couple of weeks and wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for hotels in the Flagstaff area. I've checked on a few but wanted to see if anyone here has any recommendations on places to stay or avoid.

This is a business/pleasure trip and my traveling companions have stipulated that they want to stay somewhere reasonably priced (I guess under $100 per night) for a couple of days before heading down to Phoenix for our conference.

Thanks for any help you can send my way! :yay:

It's been too long since I was through there.

If you have the time, though, I recommend driving to Phoenix via 89alt through Sedona instead of I 17.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites there bfor two nights about 5 years ago and it was really lovely. They had a great happy hour (actually 2 hours) of free drinks and tons of munchies and then in the morning a cooked to order breakfast that was great. I think the room then was somewhere along the lins of $70 a night... well worth it since I probably drank that much in booze both nights :otter:

Desertrat and BSGal may want to stowaway so get big suitcases.:yay:

...even managed to get an 8:45 a.m. tee time at the ASU golf course. Might be my first time out since tearing my Achilles so I expect it won't be pretty!
