The TSA website warns you that you may have to remove piercings. If you don't like it, don't fly.
Pecker guy might have to either remove them or be denied permission to fly. His choice.
The woman in this story could have refused to remove the rings and just not flown. She chose to fly instead. Her choice, her problem.
