That's what I'm being told. It's going to be quite large. The area is cleared all the way to the back of LaGrande Campground.

I live in Wilderness run (have since 1990). The land on both sides of the entry road has been owned by a timber company (Walton Lumber out of Mineral, VA) since before then. I knew it when I bought the place. Their property stops at the little creek about .6 miles into the development.

The question is, of course, what comes next? I can't see them sitting on the land for 50 years waiting to harvest again.

The development map shows no permits or plans for that area....a puzzle.

I heard through someone that lives there that they are just cutting down the lumber. :shrug: No plans to build anything
