Does anyone know someone with a trench digger that would like to make a few quick bucks. I need to dig a narrow ditch in my yard about 80 feet long. Something that would literally take 10 minutes to do with a trencher like SMECO uses. But the rental place wants like 150 bucks no matter if I have it an hour or a day. To me you have one of two options go get your sock out and fork over the $150 for the rental or get your trusty shovel out.
No one is going to do it at that price. Trenching general starts at $4 a foot and goes up. This is just for a straight shot with no obstructions (sidewalks, driveways,etc)
