I was wrong, she sent me a PM about one of my posts along with her other feelings. I posted it in another thread..
She does sound like someone else, I've gotten a few PMs from the other one as well..
Because she showed up, wrote some really dumb stuff, argued in a manner that harms her position in the pending sentencing and suddenly disappeared. One explanation would be that her lawyer told her to 'zip it' until the sentencing is over.
This was a district court trial without a jury. The judge is the finder of facts, the one to make decisions of law and the one to set the sentence all rolled into one. For example the issue of her blood alcohol content. The judge has obviously decided that the blood or breath results provided sufficiently established that she was under the influence of alcohol. If now, in the interval between conviction and sentencing, the defendant argues that the judge is wrong, it shows a loack of respect for the judge. Judges have a lot of leeway when it comes to things like suspending parts of a sentence and for setting the sentence within the state guidelines and the recommendation from DPSCS. So as a general rule of thumb its not a good idea to come out in public, disrespect the judge and make statements that show that you have no remorse for your actions.
First of all, I have no MPDs And I'm sorry. I think you're quite intelligent, but you've gotten some serious facts wrong throughout this thread. I'm not going into them.
Next, I respect the Judge immensely. And, I THINK the BACs were even thrown out. I was found guilty on the erratic driving perhaps. I don't know. It's all crazy. I'm totally dumbfounded.
And finally, why do you all keep saying I have no remorse? This wasn't the place to apologize to my victims. You should know that. I mean, come on. I don't need you all to know how bad I feel about all of this. I'm just trying to keep my head above water here. Seriously. I only put out facts as I see them. I don't need azzhats like black dog being childish.
This whole thing - this huge mess - was my fault. But I swear, it was not due to drinking or drugs. Maybe one day the truth will come out and you all will see. Until then, believe the worst. Yes, I was found guilty of 14 charges (3 charges x 4 plus 2). I'm sure I'm going to jail. But I did NOT get behind the wheel inebriated and drugged.
Can you all just drop it now? I will attempt to apologize to my victims at the appropriate time, if I'm allowed. Yes, I'm remorseful. And I pray. I pray for Angie the most. That's the truth.

I don’t take anything posted in the media as the truth; whether it be social, or news related. I make up my mind on my own. This forum is the only media I have ever participated in, and I happen to know Bob. That’s it. What is funny is there seems to be some innuendo about MPD. Members need to pay more attention before they post stupid crap. I wish all involved the best outcome from this tragic accident. God bless.

BAC - The first BAC (blood alcohol) taken was 0.03. No odor of alcohol. Three hours later, a BAC was 0.157. Forty minutes later it was 0.127. Alcohol does not dissipate that fast. You know it. I know it. And the responders would have had to give me alcohol to get it up to the 0.157 after the initial reading. A high BAC might indeed be expected for a “drunk alcoholic “, but not for someone who averages 2 wine coolers/week. It’s more likely that people WANTED there to be a high BAC to find a place for blame.
NDI - I have a full grip on it; I’ve had it. The NDI WAS so severe that my shattered femur and knee could not be operated on for 2 weeks, until ithe NDI was under control. Sodium and potassium line every cell in your body; what do you think happens to normal functioning when they are depleted? And so you know, my blood pressure has dropped to as low as 70’s/40’s (v. 120/80). I have been hospitalized for hypotension before and have also been refused release from hospitals due to my low blood pressure. Have you ever experienced hypotension? To that extreme?
LITHIUM - I WAS on lithium (high prescribed dosages) for roughly 13 years before it damaged my kidneys and caused the accident. And you can read symptoms of toxicity I’ve also experienced lithium toxicity before and have had difficulty determining my surroundings, have been disoriented, combative and went in and out of consciousness. How did you feel? When you had it? Oh, you haven’t? And it’s not LITHIUM that is prescribed for ETOH dependence- LIBRIUM IS.

I harbor no ill will against Gemma, I have no use for folks convicted of burglary, theft, driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol or felons.
