Trickle down theory-

Look my ass glows!
Get ready for higher pizza prices! :jameo:

Block cheddar cheese-the benchmark for mozzarella and other cheeses- reached $2.08 a pound Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, up 78 percent from $1.17 a pound a year ago. Industry observers attribute the price surge to strong demand and higher production prices-from the cost of milk to the cost for dairy farmers to feed their herds.

Both Pizza Hut and Papa John's International Inc. have raised the price of their cheese-only pizzas to the same amount as one-topping pizzas at company-owned stores.

Experts see no immediate relief in sight for pizza makers. :faint:

What tripe !
The Big 3 don't even use REAL moz !
Their crap don't have no taste at all !!!
Try a mom & pop pizza place that still uses real mozzarella cheese (ie..ricks, etc) and you can taste the difference !!!

I won't buy from the big 3 (PJ's, PH or D's) !!!

First time I heard the expression, "trickle down theory", I thought to myself, Who wants to be trickled on!!

As for cheese prices, what do you expect? Everything is going to get more expensive as the price of gas continues to rise.

Ok, but If i am not mistaken, a 1 topping pizza will still have the same amount of cheese as a regular cheese pizza. I could understand that the extra cheese option would be more money then a regular topping.

The term "trickle down theory" became popular during Reaganomics which in turn popularized the slogan, "Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining".
