8 years ago we went to Las Vegas but I was pregnant (found out right before we went) so we want to go again. I am trying to figure the best and cheapest time to go. Any advice????

Traveling during the week is always cheaper no matter what time of the year it is. Plug in several dates on Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline, Cheaptickets, etc. Have fun! I absolutely adore Las Vegas!!

We went around December 13 a couple of years ago and there were deals everywhere and it wasn't crowded at all because it seems that nobody travels between Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I suggest going in April. We are going the first week in April for a week. We used Expedia and our trip with air, room (MGM grand) and rental car was $2800. This is for 4 people and 2 rooms. Anytime between now and May is cheap.

When we went a couple of years ago, we had a coupon for the Orleans (just off the strip w/free shuttle to the strip) for two nights free, remaining week nights $25 per night. The rooms there are really clean and a nice size - since it's off the strip, the casino is a bit spacier than most too. There is new management since we were there two years ago, but I've heard from others that it's still a good bargain.
