Laff and poke fun if you must, but having worked in China for a spell, I'm here to tell ya that those folks take the utility factor of small motorcycles to astronomical levels.
Riding side-saddle and holding my tool case on the back of a 125cc "taxi" one day (same as every other day), we were
passed by two guys on another 125cc bike that were towing a 25' long piece of rather heavy structural steel behind them down the middle of the "street".
By "towing" I mean they had a piece of rope tied to the front of the big piece of metal and some burlap wrapped around to prevent the rope from chaffing...and down that road they were a'goin'! What a racket it made too..
