Stop Staring!!!!!
Anyone else hear/see Trooper 7 circling PAX last night. Forget the time, somewhere around 1-2 AM I guess. I was busy at work and could not pay attention to the scanner but here are a couple of highlights.
One of the activities calls base dispatch and advises male subject approached their fenceline stating he and his girlfriend were canoeing and somehow lost her purse.
Male asked the activity to call police and advise them he was going to start diving into the pond to try to find the purse.
Dispatch send one officer, several others respond as well
Officers arrive on seen. nobody is around, One canoe, upside down floating in pond.
Search underway with more people called, Fire/Rescue responded as well. After some time the decision was made to bring in Trooper 7 with the FLIR. 4-5 Minutes after Trooper 7 arrives an officer comes up stating he has found the girl and she is OK. Search now called off.
I really did not get much more than that. I do know they called the girls parents and apparently had them both at the base Police Building.
I was wondering if anyone heard anymore about this?
