TRUDEAU RESIGNS

The country's parliament will now be adjourned until March. One reporter asked Trudeau if that would be too short a timeframe to introduce new candidates to the public. Some people are already speculating that the short timeframe might be a tactic to push an unpopular liberal candidate in a country that is weary of liberal policies with a short, focused marketing blitz (see: Kamala Harris).

Trudeau has been the prime minister of Canada since 2015. Since that time, the country's dollar and economy has been in sharp decline as draconian government suppression of free speech, movement, association, and private gun ownership has run rampant.

His regime went after truckers & their families...
Hammered a pro LGTBQAA agenda in the media
Shuttered hundreds of businesses based on a preferential state-run economic agenda
Welcomed radical muslims by the 10s of thousands.

Hey Canada...push the reset button please....and don't do it politely.

Liberal politicians and media have taken it in the shorts recently. 2025 is looking like it will be a banner year for common sense and the decline of liberalism.

You know, liberalism has a point and is a good balance to conservatism. I am unapologetically liberal on a number of social issues. The problem is they got Republicans to go, you know what, you're right - gay people should have the right to marry; women should have access to abortions. Then once they got that they were like......well hell, NOW what can we bitch about and call Republicans evil over? So they went over the top batshit with trans children and extreme late term abortion and drugs and crime and pedophilia whatever else they knew no Republican (or even moderate) would ever agree to. AND called themselves "progressive".

But STILL they managed to get almost half this country to vote Democrat in Nov, so don't expect them to change their ways any time soon. They genuinely think they just didn't fight hard enough and you can see where they'd get that idea.

From the diehard Dems I know - a huge portion will NEVER change on that. If you read the comments section in any liberal rag, you know there are millions who believe every caricature and characterization of the right as bona fide fact.

And it’s weird to me that IF I believed what they believe about Republicans - *I* would never vote Republican either. Ever.

I know people who think like that. They have their own negative opinions about gays or Muslims or Jews or blacks or Mexicans or Catholic priests - and every news item that ever casts ONE in a bad light is reaffirming to them that their hatred is well placed.

It’s just that some people will always vote D because they’re convinced they’re the only alternative to EVIL - even if they don’t like the Democrat.

From what I read he wants to appoint his replacement until elections can take place in the fall.

Can Canada survive another 9-10 months under the same party.?
