Trump and Co desecrate Arlington Cemetery

Trump was rebuked by the Army over his campaign’s use of video and images from the visit, which critics say ran afoul of rules prohibiting political activity on the sacred grounds. The Army has said participants in the ceremony “were made aware of federal laws” regarding political activity and an employee of the cemetery who “attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside.”

NPR first reported there had been a “verbal and physical altercation” during the cemetery visit. A source with knowledge of the incident told the outlet that a cemetery official attempted to prevent Trump’s team from photographing and filming in the area where recent US casualties are buried. In response, Trump campaign staff “verbally abused and pushed the official aside,” according to NPR.

An Army spokesperson said while the incident was reported to the police department at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, the employee in question “decided not to press charges” so the Army “considers this matter closed.”

You think the Army was lying in its statement? So you trust the orange cheeto over the army?

What do you think has been debunked crap for brains?

"Participants in the August 26th ceremony and the subsequent Section 60 visit were made aware of federal laws, Army regulations and DoD policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds," the statement said. "An ANC employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside. Consistent with the decorum expected at ANC, this employee acted with professionalism and avoided further disruption. The incident was reported to the JBM-HH police department, but the employee subsequently decided not to press charges. Therefore, the Army considers this matter closed."

The Army, in its statement, called the incident "unfortunate," adding: "it is also unfortunate that the ANC employee and her professionalism has been unfairly attacked."

Because federal law prohibits Army employees from being involved with any political campaign, the staff at the cemetery did not deal directly with the Trump campaign about his visit there. A source familiar with the event said the cemetery staff worked with the staff of Republican Congressman Brian Mast of Florida, who joined Trump at Arlington.

Arlington Cemetery staff dealt directly with Mast’s chief of staff, James Langenderfer, briefing him extensively on the rules, which include no campaign events at the cemetery. They also reiterated that only an official Arlington National Cemetery photographer — and no campaign photographer — could be used at Section 60, the location of the recent American war dead. The source said Langenderfer told them the Trump campaign agreed to these

I'm not a student.

Why aren't you marching around with the rest of the nazi's? cosplaying as y'all qaeda or meal team six fatso.
Why should I? I would love to see your ilk interfere with my life. It would be a brief encounter. Funny a blimp tranny saying something about one with a near perfect BMI calling one fat.

The more I see this person come to this forum over and over to ONLY butt heads with the majority rule, the more I think someone is just playing the role in order to keep conversations and traffic flowing.

I kind of thought this was --- settled. He got permission and was asked by the families to do this. It wasn't a photo op, he spent hours with the families.

With Harris and Biden, it seems like projection - as - they would never do such a kindness UNLESS it was political, so naturally, they think it was, for Trump.

All conservatives in Nashville.

All cosplaying is done in liberal city's by liberal democrats, no such this as a Conservative doing cosplay.

Naw. I watched all the video's that the parents posted to X debunking the whole thing. They also said that Biden and Harris were also invited. Radio silence. Why is that?

The parents can say what they want.

There are no video or camera's allowed in section 60. Trump broke the rule and used their child's death as a campaign prop.

Biden and Harris are decent people who don't use gold star families as propoganda.

So why did Biden do it a few months earlier?

Any comment regarding Biden using Arlington Cemetery for a political reason.
