Trump announces deal with Democratic and GOP leaders on budget and debt ceiling

That was easy......

Sure was...when everyone agrees to just keep spending like drunken sailors what makes it hard...nothing.

They pushed discretionary spending up, agreed to a dollar for dollar parity between social and defense spending increases and just "suspended" the debt ceiling.

Not much difference apparently between member of Congress at budget time and a dope fiend locked in CVS pharmacy overnight.

Democrats and Trump reached an agreement.

The debt ceiling was raised and we will spend too much, and the Democrats will blame it on Trump.

There is a bill, stuck in committee I'm sure, that was put forth to end the threat of government shutdowns.

Part of it puts failure of a budget agreement to an automated "last year level" of funding. If it were to pass into law and congress stay at each others throats over spending levels between programs for the next 10 decades, the deficit might just be reversed.

Reversing the full level of debt.... That would probably take until the next ice age, but....
