Trump asking for the names of bad employees

So the Trump administration asked for a list of all federal employees with a less than satisfactory rating. The problem here is there can be pressure to not give poor ratings so many poor employees aren't given poor ratings. I had a supervisor that was basically fired (removed as a supervisor) because he gave too many poor ratings, which was really only about 5% of employees and did the work to have several fired over the years. His boss's boss said it was a bad look, so when the buffer boss between them left his new boss was told to remove him.

That's the problem - many times the bad employee is the one giving out the evals.

That's also the problem I see with Elon Musk, from his antics with Tesla over the years I have (always had) the opinion he is just a petulant child prone to temper tantrums and his own biggest fan. I've no doubt he will use his influence to his benefit and to grind axes.

Like what? That's a real question. I haven't spent any time following Elon Musk outside of his Twitter posts and now him upsetting the grifter applecart.

Isn't that all of them? I don't know a single successful man, nor have I ever even heard of one, who wasn't an egotistical blowhard. Even if they're successful on a smaller scale, they're typically douches. To me that just comes with the territory.

Isn't that all of them? I don't know a single successful man, nor have I ever even heard of one, who wasn't an egotistical blowhard. Even if they're successful on a smaller scale, they're typically douches. To me that just comes with the territory.

The biggest I would say was he asked the executive of his super charger team to reduce her team size, she reduced it a bit but stated she needed this many people. Instead of firing her he fired his entire super charger team. Then he ended up hiring most of that team back quietly. I don't think it is acceptable to play with the rank and file this way. A lot of theatrics and jumping up and down.

He has also made many promises and underdelivered from full self driving, to the cyber truck price, range, and capabilities.

I think Trump made a mistake with Musk and its only a matter of time before they have a falling out.
