Trump getting ready for 17 day vacation

I'm talking about where the SS stays, not where Trump stays.

With respect to the net worths of the two individuals involved, I would actually suspect the books provide a larger income as measured by a percentage of their net worths. However, the SS does not have to charge their food to the lodging space - again, this is given in the form of meal expense per diem. A flat rate, based on location, to the individual.

I would suspect, based on knowing the difference between commercial rates and the rates government will pay, the Trump organization is actually losing money they could otherwise charge full-paying guests whenever there is a stay at a Trump location.

I agree, the American citizen has lost the culture war. But, who was talking about abortion or same-sex "marriage"?

Yeah, he was elected governor, that loser. However, just because he won't use interns as humidors does not mean he is a religious extremist. I have not heard of him chopping off a single person's head for not agreeing with him, or trying to kill one of his children for not being pure enough. You should really look up the word "extremist" before you use it - it is multisyllabic, and that is not your forte.
So you think Trump can stay one place and the SS can stay at the airport Hilton? How would they protect him from there?

So assume $70k is 7k books. Each book is $10 which is a lowball Obama makes 50 cents on each one. You think he did all that for $3500?

I didn't ask your opinion on Clinton for the thousandth time. I said ask any person from Indiana. Their opinion of him was based on his performance as governor and it was mostly negative. Remember the HiV outbreak he caused with his religious insanity?

nice disparaging someone who respects his wife

maybe to you progressives who have no morals, who don't stand for anything

:shocking:

WTF does this even mean
There is a difference between respecting your wife and not being able to keep yourself from raping a woman when left alone with one.

Do you know where Pence was Governer?

What on earth are you going on about? And of course everyone knows Pence was the Governor of Indiana.

Why do you lie so often? Is it reflexive?..pathological?..what?

Looks like it was pretty much dead even...in fact..or a bit more positive than negative.
In April 2016, another poll, sponsored by WTHR-TV and Howey Politics Indiana, “found Pence’s overall job approval rating stands at 44 percent, while 41 percent of voters disapprove of him,” said NWI.com.

Apparently Gurps doesn't.

What other reasoning is there to not be alone with a woman?

Oh now you trust polls.when it fits your narrative Haha. Such a hypocrite

So you think Trump can stay one place and the SS can stay at the airport Hilton? How would they protect him from there?
Well, let's see if we can apply some critical thinking to these questions. Let's imagine it is not Trump, just a generic president.

Does every member of the Secret Service live at the White House? No, that doesn't seem right.

How about just the presidential protective detail - do they all live at the White House? No, that doesn't seem right either.

So, apparently there's a way to both protect the president AND not live with him/her.

But, maybe that's just because it is in DC. Let's look at previous presidents; did the SS stay in a room down the hall from the Obama's in HI, or in Martha's Vineyard, or from the Bushes in Texas, or the other Bushes in Kennebunkport? No, pretty sure they didn't.

Hmmm, there MUST be a way - EVEN ON VACATION - that the Secret Service protects the president without sleeping in the same quarters!! I'm sure it must be there....

Now, do the SS members protect the president while they are sleeping? No, that doesn't seem accurate.

Maybe, and I'm just spitballing here, but maybe they can be awake and away from where they're staying while protecting the president, and then go sleep somewhere when they get relieved of their duty?

What do you think, Sap? Is it possible that just using a little deductive reasoning and common sense we can come up with an answer to your questions?

So assume $70k is 7k books. Each book is $10 which is a lowball Obama makes 50 cents on each one. You think he did all that for $3500?
"All that"? For Obama, a man whose highest paycheck prior to presidency was his wife's at about $317,000/year (in a job that was so important it was no longer needed once her husband was no longer a State Senator and she has never once claimed an accomplishment on), I think $3500 (which is, as you say, quite the lowball for $70K in purchases) is worth getting, yes. And, probably about what Trump spends on dinner with friends.

I didn't ask your opinion on Clinton for the thousandth time.
Nor did I ask your opinion of Pence. Do you have a point?

I said ask any person from Indiana. Their opinion of him was based on his performance as governor and it was mostly negative.
Source?

Remember the HiV outbreak he caused with his religious insanity?
No, but I remember one caused by rampant drug use in an area where Planned Parenthood was one of the major health clinics.

I don't think it is going to be a shocker to anyone that I don't particularly care for you as a person. As a Christian, I love you as my fellow human, and I do not judge your sins. But, loving you as a Christian and liking you are two very different things, and I really don't like you.

But, even in my worst imaginings of what kind of person you are would I ever have thought that you were so horrible as a human that the only reason you can come up with to not be alone with women who are not your wife is that by doing so you are doing the only thing you can to not rape them.....There are no words for how despicable that thought process is. You are clearly a sad, warped individual.

Has anyone done a comparison of what is spent on a Presidential "vacation" at Trump's choice vs. what the cost was to fly the entourage to say...... I don't know.... HAWAII???

Again for someone who had to hold their nose to vote for Trump you really pull out all the stops to defend him. It is teetering on unhinged.

No one is taking about the White House. We are taking about on vacation where some of the SS is staying in Trump properties and he is charging them thus enriching himself.

The rest of your insanity isn't even worth replying to it it's more Obama bashing. Get over it. He isn't the president

What are all these valid reasons? To respect his wife the assumption is is that he is avoiding having a sexual indescretion with a lone woman. Can he not control himself around a lone woman?

What is he going to do if he has to have a private one on one meeting with Angela Merkel. Anyone who's religion would interfere to the point of not being able to have a private meeting with a female head of state disqualifies him from being president.

It would appear you're reading to respond again, instead of to understand. The SS does not have to stay where the president is staying.

And, I thank God for that on a daily basis. But, you asked if I thought it was worth it to him, and i think it was at least as worth it to him as it would be to Trump.

Did you come up with a source on your Indiana-people-hate-Pence thing? How about the HIV thing - how was that Pence's issue? How was it a "religious-intolerance" issue?

His religion told him not to provide funding or needles for needle exchange programs for months until the CDC said the HIV rate was an epidemic and he "prayed on it" and rescinded his objections.

God had nothing to do with putting a godless con artist like Trump in the White House. He played to the religious right but he is an opportunist not a religious person.

You obviously cannot see the difference between vigorously refuting the utter garbage you spew on here and "defending" the person you are attacking. One is certainly not equivalent to the other. I was not a Trump supporter during the election and I have major reservations about him now. That's entirely irrelevant to wanting to respond to your constant string of lies, exaggerations, distortions and half-truths.

And, you can show me where there is a requirement for taxpayers to fund drug addicts? I'll wait. :tap:

Surely, somewhere you will have a point? You're saying Trump is like you, an atheist?
