He's in Chicago doing an interview with the Black Journalists Association, most of whom hate him deeply. They stacked the deck against him to begin with, but he's going off on his Trump-ramble, going off on a tangent that has nothing to do with whatever the reporter asked.

Harris Faulkner is trying to help him out, and he's not sounding as stupid as Kamala, but he's all over the place with no good answers to questions he should have a pat response to. Surprisingly there are some supporters in the audience, but Trump didn't do himself any favors with that interview.

Thankfully his handlers got him offstage after 30 mins (was supposed to be an hour)

I don’t think this guy is ready for prime-time, maybe a little more practice and run in 2028?

Trump doesn't seem to pivot well, and his team is not helping him at all. He's going down the personal attack role and that is playing into the Harris campaign's hands. They get to grab all of the headlines and make them all about what Trump said. Instead he should be attacking her on the border, the economy, the middle east situation. Put her on the defensive and under pressure to see if she cracks

By almost all polls Trump has a slight lead in the states he needs to win. She will no doubt win the popular vote, but the electoral map is still in his favor. He should hammering home policy points and instead he's going on silly rants about her "blackness" and Vance is talking about childless "cat ladies". That's sucking up all of the headlines instead of the policy failures she was a part of. That's not the way to win.

Agree. He didn't come prepared, which is somewhat understandable considering they bait and switched him, but like I said before he should have ready answers to the questions we all know they'll be asking.

Get your act together, Trump! We need you to win in November!
