Trump looking at possible tax cuts amid economic jitters
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Tuesday his administration was considering potential tax cuts on wages as well as profits from asset sales, and sought to play down market anxieties that the world’s top economy could be heading for a recession.

The trade policies of this administration, of "Tariff Man", have caused global economic activity to slow. They have caused US economic activity to slow.

Trump doesn't know what he is doing and none of the people around him are qualified for the jobs they hold. So we have lousy policy. Instead of having policies that foster economic growth, we have policies that retard economic growth.

Instead of coming up with solutions that will remove the barriers to growth, we come up with the bullshit listed above.

Tax cuts on capital gains. How many times has Trump floated this idea in the past 2.5 years? What a dumb idea. It's a GREAT idea if you are in the top 10%. It is and idea that is pretty much worthless for everyone else.

A payroll tax cut didn't do anything when Obama tried it. It is too small to make any difference in the lives or spending habits of average folks.

The boost the economy needs now is a facing saving deal with China...a removal of the tariffs and a return to negotiations where they belong--behind closed doors--not on freaking twitter.

If you are going to do a middle class targeted tax cut, then do a one time refund or provide incentives for purchases.

So, you think it makes sense to take money from people, then give it back (with the obvious pass-through cost of administrating all of that) as a better idea than just not taking money from them in the first place? That makes sense to you as a good idea?
