Trump to annex Canada

We have probably all read about the exchange Trudeau had with Trump in Mar-A-Lago where he threatened huge tariffs if they didn't come up with better measures to secure our border. While crossings aren't as huge as our southern border, it is the preferred method of entry for those on our terror watch list, since the scrutiny is close to zero. Trudeau whined that their economy would tank at such a measure, whereupon Trump mentioned that really, it's necessary to screw Americans to the tune of 100 billion a year to stay viable? That if Canada can't survive without ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion per year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state, and Trudeau can become its governor.

I was surprised many years ago to learn that most Canadians - let me rephrase - virtually EVERY Canadian I have ever met - regards our two cultures and nations to be VASTLY different, and the only thing making it a 51st would be a contiguous border - we'd have more luck claiming just about ANY other English speaking nation as one. They're a lot more like - New Zealand.
