JD Vance is conspicuously absent from Trump's public appearances. Hannity does a big thing with Trump and Musk....where was JD?

So is he persona non grata for some reason?

Is Trump just keeping him in the shadows so he doesn't become a target for the loony Left? Vance's speech in Munich would belie that, but it's still possible.

If there are aspirations for running him for president in three years I'd imagine they will increase his exposure gradually instead of the thrust in our faces then realize they done messed up way the Dems did with Kamala.

Actually I would say its "all the media, all the time". Its the narrative they want to push. But JD is out there doing what the work that the President wants him to do. Elon is just the media's squirrel. for the next 17 months.

I REALLY wonder about their relationship especially after Trump said that Vance wasn't ready to be president (or words to that effect). That's kind of a hellava thing to say about the person you selected...not that I think any of the recent VPs have been ready to be president but....that's the kind of thing I would think you don't say out loud.

Who in their right mind would "anoint" their successor after just a couple of weeks in office? And it isn't like he said he wouldn't endorse such a move, he said it wasn't time to make that call as they were just starting.
