Trump weighs in after writer's Andrew Yang tweet

A guy bud of mine used to say, "I only need one to say yes....."

There's also a story about two bulls. One says "I'm gonna run over to that pasture and meet one of those cows". They other says "I'm going to walk over there and meet them all".

I cleaned it up a bit. For the kids!

I think the Access exchange says more about icky women than it does about Trump.

I think I've used this old joke as an example before:

Rich man walks up to a beautiful woman, says, "I'll give you $1M for a single night of lovemaking with you."

She excitedly tells him she is up for it.

He says, "Wait, no, let's make it $100."

She angrily responds, "Absolutely not. What kind of woman do you think I am??"

He answers, "We already established what kind of woman you are, now we are simply bickering over price."

She's the kind of woman who will sell herself for money - this is your point, I'm sure, about these groupies. But, the rich man is also the kind that will pay for sex (or, as was once said, "you don't pay for the sex, you pay for them to leave AFTER the sex") and sleep with the kind of woman who will sell her dignity for money. It says something about BOTH of them, not just the chick.

I have said numerous times, every woman has her price. For some it's a $5 drink, for others it's dinner, and some hold out for half his lifetime earnings. Pretty much everything is negotiating over price and as long as everyone is consensual and having fun, who cares? Surely casual sex doesn't shock or surprise you?

Shock or surprise? Of course not. But, surely you are not surprised by dignified men and women with self respect.

That's basically what Trump, in his own inimitable style, said on the Access recording.

Or, as Bill Burr says (dated and NSFW):

When Trump says something like that, its crude, but when a democrat says something like that, its earthy

I really don't like the vulgarity.

This...this is why on November 4, 2020 we’ll wake to the news that Warren is the president elect.

Trump only won Wisconsin by 22k votes, out of near 3mil cast. I know everyone in this forum will vote, we’re uniquely engaged in following politics. But I also think that most people aren’t engaged, and there are either 22k people who couldn’t stand Hillary, but will come out for Warren. Or 22k who this time just won’t come out for Trump and stay home. Similarly story for PA, MI, OH, AZ...

For comparison Romney got MORE votes in Wisconsin than Trump...ROMNEY!!!!

I’ve never really dug too much into these numbers...2020 is looking like a landslide for Warren. You folks worship Trump like he’s a god. Hillary was just a terrible candidate.

Do you really want a socialist to be prez of the USA? Not to mention that Lizzy is a known liar. Just wondering.

If you don't like that Trump lies, often and on things varying in importance, you must HATE Warren, too.

If you think Trump had no experience to run for president, and was unqualified, you must HATE Warren, too.

Warren has bad ideas, is a poor public speaker, refuses to acknowledge the Constitution as a limit on government.

I would say the odds of a Warren presidency are near nil, but so were the odds of a Trump presidency. Who knows?

It's certainly unlikely that an educated and informed voter would vote for Warren, but that's not the bulk of the voters, so you may be right. God help us if you are.

Believe me, few people were more surprised that Trump won, than me. My dad was dying in another state - my family were back and forth - and I was holding the family homestead down, largely alone, on election night. I watched the returns, fully expecting that Hillary would win and I was watching hopefully like anyone might watch the lottery numbers popping up.

I never expected he would win Pennsylvania, MUCH less Michigan and Wisconsin. You observed they were won by slim margins; yes they were. So were New Hampshire. Maine. Nevada. MINNESOTA which hasn't gone Republican since 1972. New Mexico went for Hillary - but it has only recently gone blue, has had Republican governors and it - not surprisingly - gave 9% of its vote to its own former (Republican) governor in Gary Johnson. It CAN be flipped.

Not seeing Ohio. Hillary lost by half a million votes and eight percentage points. Under no circumstances was it close.

It's still more than a year away. At this point in the campaign, no one dreamed that Trump would even be the NOMINEE.

My point is that people would opt not to vote because they don't want to take the effort because they have these negative feelings about Trump. I'm not saying that they would somehow become Warren backers, they just simply will sit it out. With these very slim margins in several swing states, those who stay at home may make all the difference.

She will only be able to do so much since the Senate will likely remain republican.

This is a lie too.

Trump was by far the front-runner in September of 2015. I watched every debate and followed the polls, who did you think was going the get the nomination 4 years ago at this time, Jeb?

Here is an article from September 3, 2015:

Republican presidential front-runner

yeah, "no one dreamed Trump would even be the NOMINEE"...give me a break.

I get you think Warren is a better candidate, and people now "know" Trump so they'll sit it out. I get that's your point.

The problem is, just as many Democrats and Independents (those not affiliated with the top two parties) are just as sick and tired of the BS Warren does as GOPers are about Trump.

It's good that Warren would not be able to "do so much" of what she wants, because it's wrong. But, the actual reality is that it is far less likely that she'll be president than Trump's chances were in Sept of 15.
