Trying to find a caterer

I am getting married in Feb of next year. I have been trying so hard to find a caterer that is both affordable and flexible. We have very specific ideas on what menu items we want, unfortunately we can't find anyone that doesn't just show us a menu and say "pick a selection off of this list!"
There is nothing we want that is complicated. It's just wintery comfort foods like pot roast, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese...things of that nature.
Also fairly inexpensive food.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a caterer that can flexible and affordable as far as menu goes?

I didnt think her food was that good. I guess it could have been the choices that the bride and groom chose

She's country cooking.

I've never known her to stray from her fixed menu...

She does. She's also relatively inexpensive and the foods they are looking for are right up her alley.

My first choice is Bailey's Catering. But they are higher than Rita B. They also do a lot of "little" things that Rita doesn't do, that makes it worth the $.

Then again I'm a bit biased since they did the food at our wedding and are good friends of the family. Patsy makes this squash casserole dish that will absolutely knock your socks off! :yum::yum: Hell, it's so good it'll make you wanna slap yo mamma can't she can't make it.:killingme

I don't think I've ever had anything from Patsy & Eddie that wasn't good, and I've had my share of their food. :yum:

That squash casserole is the shiat.

This is who I used for my wedding 2 months ago. I told her exactly what I wanted and thats exactly what I got. Everyone at the wedding was raving about the food and said they had never had such good catered food at any event they have been too and she bet everyone elses price in town...
