Havent had much wind either, just some old dead twigs from the maple trees, which always come down in the slighest breeze.

:shrug: Thats what it says :shrug: River Rat was watching it and a few hours ago she said it was 1.5" then she took a nap. I just checked and its 4" maybe there was water in it prior that she was subracting :shrug: don't know... now downspouts aimed at it or anything. Its been a deluge here the past few hours. :shrug: I'll ask her to recheck it when she gets up from nap. Yep its starting to get brighter, has been raining steady for the last 30 minutes or so not really heavy just nice shower, coming straght down there is no breeze what so ever, wheres the wind maybe we are in the center of the storm at the moment.
Boy the birds are enjoying the rain, have been swarming the feeders today along with the hummingbirds.

It is getting a little brighter here in Prince Frederick and rain is coming down kind of softly. According to the radar, it looks like it is on its way outta here. Unless the wind comes up after the rain moves out, looks like it is going to be a pretty calm tropical storm.

Yeah, the SW quadrant of the storm isn't bring much. Looks to be centered over Tangiers right now heading NNW.

Good thing we arent in Manassas its up to 9 inches at one reporting location, Ive had ABC7 on all morning, and all the places they are reporting looks like further you go west the more rain, most of PG has only gotten 2" go across into DC 3" and once into Va its 4" or more.

Earlier this morning, I was watching the Today show and the reporter in Virginia Beach was just about blown off the beach where he was reporting. I was really anticipating it happening up here and it has turned out to be nothing.
I wonder where the wind went? :shrug:

Should be a real interesting party...
