McManaman is charged with assisting in a forgery of documents transferring property from an elderly relative with dementia to herself and an accomplice

An official with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been arrested on an outstanding warrant, according to local reports.

TSA Assistant Federal Security Director Maxine McManaman was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on December 28.

McManaman had a warrant for her arrest posted by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, which claimed she and an alleged accomplice named Delroy Chambers Sr. exploited a relative suffering from dementia by falsifying documents in their name, according to Port St. Lucie Police.

The relative whose property was transferred to McManaman and Chambers allegedly could not have signed the quitclaim deed, because the individual was found to have been in Atlanta on the date listed, according to police.

Chambers was previously arrested on December 20 in Port St. Lucie, charged with two counts of exploitation of an elderly or disabled adult, simple neglect and two counts of forgery. He eventually bonded out of jail.

McManaman is facing a third-degree felony charge of forgery.

Yep, its our culture to make sure the old folks stuff enriches us.
After cleaning out both my Grandfathers and Mothers places when the passed, I wouldn't call dealing with all their stuff "enriching." :lmao:

I really need to get working on accumulating a warehouse full of misc junk to burden my relatives with upon my demise.

My wife has her mother's corner hutch/cupboard including everything that was in it. Our current house was picked because it had a corner to fit that beast. I told her that will all the open floor plans we are looking at for our next house, that cupboard may need to find a new home.

A TSA AFSD is basically in charge of a single airport, not much more than an assistant manager at a fast food restaurant. Not really a high position. Probably GS 13.

The term director usually means SES

Yes. TSA doesn’t use GS; they have their own pay scale. Attorneys and other professionals with specialty skills don’t make anywhere near $200k even.

In any case, she probably isn’t even responsible for an entire airport. Likely a single terminal/hub & spoke. She’s not SES equivalent, and likely not even Official Staff.

In any case, it’s elder abuse and she should never work in a public position ever again.

They don't start near $200k, a standard attorney at the journeyman level is GS-14, so about $165k at the lowest.

There use to be a website you could look up any federal employee and see their bonuses etc. I'll have to see if that still exists.
