I would like to let everyone know that The Silverado Band and Degrees Of Swanson will be performing live at the benefit event for Darnell Holt. If you like a mix of southern rock, classic rock, and current rock, then these bands will satisfy that hunger. As I understand it, DOS does not currently have a website as the band is brand new, however, for those of you who are not familiar with TSB, you can visit their website at: www.TheSilveradoBand.net

Thanks for your time, and I hope to see you at the event, and don't forget to get your 50/50 raffle tickets by mail, they are almost gone!

Benefit Dance for Darnell Holt

All Ages - 2 Live Bands - Bring the whole family!

Darnell is a 12 year old boy from Lexington Park, Maryland who has Becker’s Muscular Dystrophy and Osteopenia. There is no known cure for Becker's Muscular Dystrophy.

Darnell is in the 7th grade and goes to Esperanza Middle School. He is confined to an electric wheelchair as his only source of self independence. Darnell is a bright, intelligent young man, who loves school. He loves to draw, and read graphic novels, some of which are Kingdom Hearts, Inu Yasha, The Incredibles, Chicken Little, and Tokyo Pop. He likes to play his Sony PS2, and his favorite color is Blue.

Please, help Darnell and his family to defray overwhelming medical costs by coming to the dance and making a generous donation at the door. There will be prizes and raffles for adults and children, snack foods will be available, and a 50/50 raffle. There will be live musical entertainment for all ages provided by local bands.

The benefit dance will take place on Saturday March 24, 2007 at The Brass Rail Banquet Hall, 20331 Point Lookout Road, Great Mills, Maryland from 2:00PM until 6:00PM.

If you do not plan to attend the event, but would still like to make a donation, or for event information, please contact Dwight A. Owens Jr. at 240-682-0958 or by email at SuperCoopRecords@somd.net
