Ok so last weekend we went White Water Rafting and had a freaking blast.

Now we wanna book a weekend of tubing with our cooler full of beer. Only problem is all I can find is tubing all of the companies prohibite beer. I know there is somewhere, I hear people talk about it all the time.

Come on people, where is this place... ???:killingme

My niece told me of one near Linden VA that you start at the top of a mountain and tube down, it takes the better part of the day and you have your cooler of beer with it's own little tube following you, sounded really fun and I keep saying I'm going to try it. I'll e-mail her and see if I can get info.

Do they have tubing around here? We'd go tubing down the Apple River in Wisconsin during the summer (you float for 3 hours down a river on an inner tube, usually tied together in a group with a cooler full of beer and any other alcoholic beverages in the middle), but I haven't seen anything like that out here.

I'm laughing because I've been there.... As a teen we would go tubing/canoing on the Lehigh and get completely toasted.

We are on our way back from tubing in luray, va. It was a blast. We took beer and wine coolers on our cooler tube. The place is called shenandoah river outfitters. It took us 4 hours to get down the river! Can't wait to go back!

It was alot of fun. We go every summer. This year there were alot more rapids to go through. There is also a rope swing off the side of the mountain that is awesome. The water is soo clear its amazing.

Before it got canceled Yuma AZ would host the International Inner Tube Race in the Colorado. The actual racers started first and it was really competitive, Then came the floats and then the open float free for all. I think the official entry point was 8 miles upstream, but there were a lot of stops(parties) along the way. They actually had a net and life guards at the take out point to keep the passed out lobsters from floating on the Mexico.

I used to go to them for years, they were awsome. We would do that canoe with lunch and dinner provided. I gotta go back again. Well worth the trip.

I think most if not all of the places prohibit alcohol. Liability and all that. It up to you to follow that rule.....or not.

That's why you go to Texas; they sell beer and margaritas from the shore.

One kid had a boom box built into his cooler, built into a tube. :larry:
