Tulips

I can't figure out what's wrong with mine. They're not up yet. In the past, I've had a couple hundred up all at once. Now, I've got maybe a dozen, they've bloomed and lost their petals.

Is it past time for tulips? Should I pretty much guess that the rest of them are dead, and won't be back this year?

I guess it depends if they are early or late bloomers, unless they were all the same.  Mine mysteriously disappeared one year too.  They either rotted or were eaten and I had over 100 of them.  I gave up on tulips.
