Tumor

bresamil

wandering aimlessly
When we went to pick up our terrier from her surgery, the attendant showed me the "abnormality" they found on the bladder. It was a tumor the size of a peach pit. We're having it analyzed.

Other than that, she is a joy. It is so great to have a dog that has already been housebroken and knows basic commands. I can't believe I was originally looking for a puppy. She even took her antibiotics without any resistance. She was pretty out of it last night, but still asked to go out to do her business. This morning she was really perky. She's not that thrilled with the crating, but that was advised for the first week to keep her activity level monitored. We definitely chose the right dog for us. I just hope the test results come back benign.

:yay: What a great addition. I hope all goes well with the medical issue.

I am so very blessed
Good luck, Bre, with your new family addition. I sure hope that your doggie recouperates fully and that nothing turns up from the tumor analysis.

Aren't doggies just plain wonderful?

:yeahthat: This response and your post deserves more than an animated "yeah that", but this response does reflect how I feel. I truly do hope everything turns out okay.

Often, I tend to skip over the "Pets" section in this forum because I am afraid I can't handle it. Hell, I can't even handle half of the stuff on Animal Planet, for fear that something similar can and will happen to my girls. I am not overprotective, I just have a lot of feelings for my girls, other peoples' pets and us pet lovers. And, I don't always want to deal with the emotions I may feel when I read what others may be going through.

So, with that said, your new gal sure seems to have found herself a good home! Keep us posted! - vv

VV--I feel the same way. I often skip the pets section because it breaks my heart to hear about pets going through ordeals...and the azzbags who treat animals cruely.

B-hope everything works out! I feel for you--no one likes to have a sick pet. They are so helpless in that situation.
